Tower of Terror's Black Boa Dinner Party

Welcome!
In honor of one of the (coolest) rides closing at Disneyland,
let's travel back in time and take a seat in the Tower's hotel dining room.

Have you ever been trapped at the top of this ride?
I have.
It just stopped.
Yep, at the very top.
We had to walk...all the way down.
It was fantastic!

Now,
let's sit back
and
enjoy this spooky ride...

My love for a silver paint brush
has me in splendid overdrive for this event.
If you can't find decor in the color you want,
my answer is a bottle of paint!

Two charges are placed
with spider confetti
sprinkled on top.

Boas and rats add an elegant but spooky element,
while the rats are dressed in silver for the special occasion.

A framed paper napkin whispers a message
in front of a trio of painted candlestick holders.

Pumpkins and candles are placed atop each boa;
the pumpkins are brushed in a layer of black and silver,
with a final wash in watery gold.

A black ribbon ties each napkin
with a painted skeleton hand
tucked inside.

Goblets are adorned with a vintage family initial.

Finally,
the painted trees stand as place card holders
with questions each guest has an opportunity to answer.
It's a delightful tradition, bringing laughter, discussion and appreciation to the table.

Thanks for joining the party...now go visit Tower of Terror one last time.
